About your new role…
This is a rare gem of a role for a passionate Learning & Development professional to partner with our teams on site in Moorabbin and support the site to deliver technical and functional capability which ensures our valued frontline teams can make, move, sell and service our quality products safely and sustainably.
You will partner with and support our team leaders and site management in the development of operational performance improvement training plans and activities to meet the changing needs of the business, through conducting learning needs and skills assessments to ensure robust plans are in place.

What will you be doing?
- Working with the Senior Manager L&D - Customer Service and Supply Chain, and site leadership teams aligning to business priorities, building local plans for the site to deliver technical training.
- Provide thought leadership through conducting skills gap analysis, evaluating training effectiveness and driving continuous improvement.
- Lead and drive complex change and projects through targeted activities.
- Understand technical process with the ability to create training and assessment objectives and resources and coach subject matter experts.
- Incorporate compliance requirements for quality, safety, legal, capital projects in line with Nationally established process and governance for training and assessment, escalating non-conformance and risks to subject matter experts.
- Work with site teams to review skills matrix and conduct training needs analysis for equipment and build capability plans.
- Support team leaders and site management to collate site learning needs by developing training plans that help them to deliver operational performance improvement activities. This will include preparing capability roadmaps that forecasts and mitigates risk.
- Attend regular management reviews with senior site leaders, to discuss cross skilling opportunities, ways to maximise site capability to drive performance improvement, ensure key metrics are measured and reported on, highlighting gaps and recommendations.
- Deliver ‘Train the Trainer’ and ‘Train the Assessor’ for all of Supply Chain as requested, coaching Team Managers & Assessors on delivering training plans and standards in line with adult learning best practice.
- Work hand in hand with the People and Culture Business Partners to review performance & training needs, discuss learning interventions that increase performance by incorporating the 70/20/10 learning framework
Let’s talk about you!
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources / Education or other relevant field.
- Previous experience in an FMCG learning and development role with technical training solution implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Build rapport at all levels and take people on the journey to successfully navigate change.
- Excellent facilitation skills and ability to engage with an audience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Experience in Learning Management Systems desirable.
