The role:

The Channel Development Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of marketing for a specific Channel within the organization and developing strategies. The role is also responsible for maximizing profitable volume growth by executing point-of-purchase marketing strategies in alignment with consumer purchase behaviour and customer needs for the selected channel in General Trade/ Modern Trade.

A well-presented, highly personable and efficient candidate who can work independently in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements: 

  • University/Bachelor’s degree and equivalent with professional sales and marketing qualifications.
  • 7 – 10 years’ experience in FCGM / marketing or sales position, experience in analysing market share, availability and other distribution related reports, experience in negotiating and working with vendors for POS material.
