Job Purpose
The Manager Indirect Tax will be responsible for delivering service excellence to the business in reporting for indirect taxes that are within the scope of the ITAX Team (e.g. VAT, excise taxes, Intrastat, etc.), stabilising existing processes and actively participating in continuous process improvement. This position will be tasked with ensuring monitoring of VAT requirements in SAP, Indirect Tax compliance filings and reporting for the CCEP BU and will act as a contact with local authorities on indirect tax matters and resolving queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures that CCEP policies are adhered to (e.g. approvals, financial guidelines, etc.)
- Ensure VAT compliance, filing, reporting and archiving for various CCEP entities.
- Supports internally different departments across the organization (accounting, supply chain, sales etc.) for compliance related indirect taxes issues
- Coordinates of activities and documentation to facilitate preparation and filing of VAT related claims
- Monitors VAT settings in SAP and advises when changes are needed
- Partners with the general TAX team when needed, co-operating on regular basis with Customs team and BU Tax Leads
- Handles identified issues, queries and needs from tax authorities and ensure timely resolution
- Communicates and co-operates with the BU Tax Lead to handle variousITAX related matters, incl. any queries from TA
- Documents indirect tax processes and updates the documentation in case of a process change
- Trains and supervises new ITAX members
- Supplies advice on routine ITAX queries and participates in complex Indirect tax query resolution
- Identifies opportunities for process efficiency and continuous improvement and actively participates in their implementation
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects
- Ensures compliance with company policies, relevant accounting and tax requirements and internal controls (SOX)

Experiencerequired
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with indirect tax compliance management, and planning experience, preferably in a multi-national organization
- High level of indirect taxation knowledge and experience (VAT directives and regulations, Intrastat reporting, etc.).
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office
Language Capability & expert level
Fluent in English

- University degree and an advanced professional accounting and/or Tax qualification
