Quality Maintenance Technician- North QLD

The Role

  • Based in Townsville you will manage our Quality Maintenance Program (QMP) for the North Queensland region – includes Cairns, Mackay and Mt Isa. .
  • Customers include national accounts such as McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, Bettys Burgers and Cinemas.  
  • Provide Quality Maintenance and conduct equipment repairs efficiently
  • Frequently Implement projects, providing feedback on quality issues, data integrity and invoicing in relation to their equipment and quality results
  • Use the appropriate and necessary parts to repair equipment
  • Internal reporting

Roster

  • Monday – Friday
  • Flexible start and finish times
  • 40 hours a week
  • No weekend work 
  • Set your own work hours
  • Up to 12 weeks a year of overnight travel within Nth Qld 

You will be provided with

  • Motor vehicle

About You

 We are looking for the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Extensive onsite experience with the customer
  • Knowledge of cold drink equipment and beverage systems is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to self-manage, you will also need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to drive continuous improvement.
  • This role will suit someone who is looking to work independently, likes to be onsite with the customer and set their own work hours.  
  • Certificate 2 electrical
  • You might currently be working as an electrician, plumber, tradie  etc
