Senior Field Sales Manager (North Queensland)

The opportunity

The Away From Home (AFH) channel is a major growth engine for CCEP, covering licensed venues, QSR, travel, leisure, C&P and local trade. It’s a fast‑moving, highly executional environment where strong customer partnerships, in‑market excellence and the ability to translate national strategy into local impact are critical to success. AFH drives brand presence, incremental volume and profit at the point of consumption, making effective field leadership essential.

We now have an exciting opportunity to join the Field Sales Leadership Team, leading a geographically dispersed organisation across North Queensland. The location is flexible (Townsville preferred; Sunshine Coast and other regional bases considered).

This is a permanent full-time role.

Day to day, you will:

  • Lead eight people managers who oversee Business Development Executives and Merchandisers. Your remit is to deliver sustainable revenue, profit and executional excellence while building strong customer relationships and a high‑performance, safety‑first culture.
  • Set the field sales plan, bring national and local priorities to life, and ensure our brands achieve visibility, availability and space in market. You will use data and insights to lift performance, drive efficiency and make strong commercial decisions.
  • A core focus will be capability development; coaching and mentoring leaders, strengthening succession and creating an environment where your team continually grows and adapts. You’ll champion a proactive safety culture and foster a resilient, customer‑centric team that executes with excellence and consistently delivers results.
  • This role provides a strong platform for lateral or upward progression within the Commercial function, including broader Commercial leadership, Commercial Development roles or cross-functional moves. 

About you

  • Strong commercial experience, ideally managing customer accounts within FMCG or complex sales environments
  • Proven track record leading and developing indirect or multi‑layered teams
  • Clear and effective communicator who ensures teams understand targets, progress and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborative approach, working closely with channel partners and sharing insights to strengthen customer relationships
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into practical, commercial actions
  • Customer‑centric, with a focus on creating long‑term value
  • Strong influencing, decision‑making and communication skills at senior levels
  • Resilient leader capable of driving change in dynamic, fast‑paced environments
