About your new role…

We have an excellent opportunity to join our fun, friendly and supportive Grinders Coffee team in this awesome role of S&OP Planning Manager. You will be the conduit between Sales and Supply Planning and ensure a quality and effective S&OP plan. Using your planning and forecasting skills and collaborating with key stakeholders in our Sales and Finance teams, you will build the demand plan for the 0-24 month horizon and support supply planning in efficient fulfillment of that plan.

What will you be doing?

  • Be the key conduit between Sales and Supply planning to ensure the quality and effectiveness of Grinders S&OP Planning
  • Leverage the base sales plan from promotional calendars, statistical modelling from rolling trends, causal forecasting, and market intelligence to generate and manage the Demand Plan for Coffee
  • Identify and communicate demand risks and opportunities through preparation and analysis of reports, including daily exception reporting, weekly sales performance overs/ unders by state, plus monthly forecast accuracy KPIs, to drive timely and effective action
  • Co-ordinate accurate and timely forward forecasts from all sales leads and account managers, ensuring alignment to promotional plans and calendar of activity, Align with finance team on volume forecasts to support commercialisation and Partner with Supply Planning team to develop and align scenarios for fulfillment of demand plans, including demand changes to manage constraints
  • Serve as the “source of truth” for planning, providing the General Manager, GLT, and internal stakeholders with timely insights, updates, and risk assessments.

Let’s talk about you…

  • Proven experience in delivering outcomes in a commercial or supply chain environment
  • Business and Commercial acumen, including ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in/ familiarity with planning tools and systems (e.g., APO, Tableau, Excel).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal & written, and proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and laterally to solve complex problems, manage ambiguity, and independently multi-task with minimal supervision.
