The role:
A filler operator works with the packaging end of a production line. The filler's task is to fill containers with the required number of products before packaging and shipping. The filler also operates filling machines and makes the necessary adjustments to ensure consistency.
Our desired candidate:
A well-presented, highly personable, and efficient candidate who can work independently in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling (e.g., CMRP or equivalent).
- Specialized training in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems or EAM Infor.
- At least 3 – 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or engineering supervisor level roles in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Project.
- Ability to work under pressure in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- In-depth understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using EAM INFOR, or other maintenance management tools.
- Solid understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- Willing to work on Shift, weekends and when required.
