Edmonton Operations is the 3nd highest producing plant in Europe. The Edmonton site produces just over 30% of the the GB volume across their 7 production lines. It is has a diverse portfolio of production with some of the drinks unique only to the site. What to expect:
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will oversee a group of Team Leaders across various manufacturing disciplines to ensure the site's successful operation. Your primary focus will be meeting customer expectations by producing Coca-Cola's world-class brands through effective execution. You will manage high-speed, highly automated manufacturing lines. Key responsibilities include:
- Foster a culture of safety by guiding and leading safe working practices.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements for product Safety, Quality, Environment and People.
- Collaborate with QESH to enhance the site’s Quality, Environment, Health and Safety standards.
- Grow, develop and engage your team via our performance management processes including developing a pipeline of talent for the future
- Deliver high standards of GMP (Good Manufacturing practices), in line with the Coca-Cola Operating Requirements (KORE)
- Take full accountability for delivering line utilisation targets and production schedules.
- Enhance Operational Excellence through effective site routines, emphasising data-driven decisions
- Manage your area’s budget by close management of crew levels and reducing costs associated with Manufacturing efficiencies and waste.
- Execute the maintenance plan effectively and manage all planned and unplanned events to optimise line performance and production costs.
- Lead by example demonstrating and applying Continuous Improvement behaviours at all times
- Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to achieve production goals.
- Allocate resources (manpower, materials, equipment) to meet schedules.
- Lead, coach, and develop the production team including performance management.
Skills & Essentials:
- Proven operational management ability
- Passion and ability to coach and develop individuals, combined with motivation to train and nurture talent
- Ability to make critical decisions within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- A self-starter with a thirst for knowledge and a drive to succeed
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks using initiative
- Demonstrate analytical thinking
- Knowledge and understanding of SAP is advantageous but not essential
