About your new role…
We have an incredible opportunity join our team in this varied Logistics Coordinator role where you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth execution of warehouse operations, supporting inbound receivals, internal storage, outbound dispatch, and customer service in a safe and efficient manner. This role is responsible for the daily management of receiving, picking, and delivery functions while maintaining compliance with operational standards and service excellence.
What you will be doing?
- React quickly to changing customer requirements
- Build strong rapport with key stakeholders to allow effective shift planning
- Investigate and escalate any customer risks or issues
- Holistic view & goals for the day clearly communicated to all parties
- Prioritisation and escalation for any interruptions or risks to meeting stakeholder requirements
- Clear and concise communication throughout shift
- Proactive actions and communications
- Ensure tasks are completed sequentially and on time
- Participating in safety initiatives
- Frontline supervision & safety leadership
- Behavioural safety observations & conversations
Let’s talk about you!
- Applied knowledge of WHS (Workplace Health & Safety)
- Applied knowledge of COR (Chain of Responsibility)
- Competency in SAP / ( Swisslog highly desired)
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills
- High attention to detail
- An understanding of the wider supply chain processes & impact on stock availability
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
- Decision making based on work requirements and available resources
- Able to manage and “juggle” priorities on the go.
