The Opportunity
We're looking for a commercially savvy and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to partner with some of our most strategic state-based customers.
This is a permanent, full-time role following an internal promotion. Your territory will primarily be Sydney metro with quarterly regional travel.
This is a highly visible role where you'll combinecustomer leadership, commercial strategy and negotiation expertise to unlock growth opportunities, strengthen partnerships and deliver winning outcomes for both CCEP and our customers.
You'll work cross-functionally to turn customer strategies into executable plans, influence key stakeholders, and identify innovative ways to grow market share, profitability and customer value.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Lead customer negotiations, trading terms, tenders and commercial agreements
- Develop and execute joint business plans that drive sustainable growth
- Identify new sales opportunities and deliver profitable portfolio growth
- Use market, category and customer insights to influence decision-making
- Partner with field teams to bring customer plans to life in market
- Lead range reviews, promotional planning and category initiatives
- Analyse data and performance metrics to uncover growth opportunities
- Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, RGM and Strategy teams
About You
You're a commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building partnerships and delivering results.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience managing large customer relationships
- Strong sales, negotiation and influencing capability
- Commercial acumen and an ability to balance growth and profitability
- Experience developing strategic customer plans
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Energy, resilience and a solutions-focused mindset
- FMCG, grocery, route-to-market or category management experience will be highly regarded
