The Opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Technician to join our high-performing manufacturing team.

In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in improving plant reliability, maximising equipment uptime and driving continuous improvement across our production operations. Working closely with Maintenance and Production teams, you'll identify opportunities to optimise asset performance, reduce unplanned downtime and embed best practice maintenance processes that support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, plant performance and operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practice maintenance and asset care processes to maximise equipment availability and support production targets.
  • Lead structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations using CCEP's standard tools and methodologies to eliminate recurring equipment failures.
  • Partner closely with Production and Maintenance teams to identify improvement opportunities and optimise manufacturing performance.
  • Complete and support preventative maintenance activities, ensuring work is accurately recorded and managed within Maximo.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance audits, identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to maintenance plans.
  • Analyse equipment issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions to improve long-term asset reliability.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company policies, permit-to-work requirements and regulatory standards.

About You

You are a proactive and mechanically minded maintenance professional who enjoys improving equipment performance and finding practical solutions to complex engineering challenges. You thrive in a collaborative manufacturing environment and take pride in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

In addition, you will have:

  • A recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  • Previous experience within an FMCG, food manufacturing or similar industrial production environment.
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and reliability improvement principles.
  • Experience using CMMS maintenance systems, ideally Maximo or similar.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage competing demands.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across Production and Maintenance teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
