Raw Materials Coordinator, Sidcup

Permanent contract. There are 4 x opportunities available.
Salary + Flexible Benefits + Share Scheme + Pension Plan

Shift based, Days & Nights - 42 hours per week

What you become part of:

Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as the wide portfolio range of small cans. Across their 7 manufacturing lines the site can produce 360,000 cans per hour, 132,000 PET bottles per hour and 48,000 Glass bottles. There are currently around 280 employees across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering, experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.

What to expect:

  • MHE pre-use checks for all Raw Materials MHE, Defect reporting and escalate where applicable. 
  • Attend 24hr BU morning meeting aligned to meeting requirement.
  • Attend 24hr planning meeting with following days volumes both direct and Indirect: understand impact of plan changes, line breakdown or transport disruption affecting material supply.
  • Participate in Weekly Planning meeting to understand status of raw material availability for the coming week (Achievable Plan report) and escalate actions required from Raw Material Consumption report (material not on 13-week plan, processing of leftovers, authorised write-off of Residual Stock)
  • Validation of material Buffer for Cans and Glass prior to Production aligned to production plan.
  • Material accuracy during service of lines without interruption
  • Accuracy of leftover stock postproduction runs of cans and Glass
  • Ensure S.I.C document is updated hourly.
  • Attend SIC 2 hourly – review last 2 hours, contribute to the forward plan if operation is off standard, record actions.
  • Ensure correct SAP system usage and adherence to Data Integrity/Cyber Security protocols.
  • Monitor Line view line status and operator comments due to Material Supply issues to ensure correct loss allocation.
  • S.D.C.A observations aligned to S.O.P’s (x 1 per shift)
  • Record SDCA Safety conversations via the Integrum App
  • Hazard Reporting and escalation via the Integrum App
  • Stock management, including stock cycle counting.
  • Product Breakages process adhered to

Skills & Essentials:

  • IT Competencey
  • SAP exposure preferable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
