The Cash Application Sr. Assistant (CTC Cross-BU team) will be responsible for monitoring the processing and allocation of all incoming cash receipts as well as resolution of payment issues/customer queries in the CashApp team in the SSC. The position will be tasked with driving and delivering CTC service excellence to the business with an emphasis on customer service and continuous process improvement to further enhance the CTC service level and effectiveness.

Key contributions

Financial Services Delivery

•    Responsible for delivering high quality services to key customers (who include Customers, Suppliers, Employees, Executives, Regulatory Bodies, etc.)
•    Ensures that CCEP policies are adhered to (e.g. approvals, financial guidelines, etc.) 
•    Ensures the accurate and timely application of customer payments on a daily basis
•    Performs quality assurance checks for the cash application
•    Identifies process improvement areas related to Cash application 
•    Provides training to new joiners
•    Involvement in process improvement projects
•    Monitors and ensures the payment runs are performed timely and accurately, escalating issues as appropriate to the CTC Cash Application Team leader.
•    Ensures that all queries are logged including unidentified payments, short payments, over payments and inadequate invoice data
•    Ensures that Cash Application period end closing procedures are completed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner
•    Supplies advice on Cash Application processes where required 
•    Provides support to other team members where required
•    Provides feedback to ensure that processes meet business requirements in an automated and as user-friendly manner as possible
•    Ensures all relevant process flows and desktop procedures are reviewed, updated and approved on a regular basis
•    Works to ensure the achievement of customer service requirements as defined by both formal Service Partnership Agreements as well as Customer Satisfaction surveys
•    Assures that the appropriate internal control environment and SOX compliance are maintained along with compliance to all legal and regulatory requirements
•    Continuous review/monitoring of the Unapplied cash figures and regular follow-ups with the respective Collections team as part of the Unapplied cash governance

Relationships
•    Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Business Units to drive understanding and support for CTC and Shared Services generally
•    Works and liaises closely with BU Finance teams and other departments where required
•    Works and liaises closely with the Capgemini Cash Application and AR Support teams
•    Works proactively with colleagues across the Customer to Cash Function to ensure an integrated approach to service delivery

Continuous Improvement
•    Provides feedback and support to the Cash Application Team Leader in driving end-to-end standard Cash Application/CTC processes across the CCEP business
•    Proactively improves the quality of Cash Application through identification and resolution of issues and continuous improvement of Cash Application processes

Requirements:
•    Minimum of 2 years Cash Application/Accounts Receivable experience in a multinational organization and/or Shared Services environment 

•    A good understanding of wider Customer to Cash area processes
•    Ability to assess a problem and escalate it to the appropriate level
•    Fluent in English
•    ERP experience essential, preferably SAP
•    Strong customer service orientation
•    Excellent Excel skills
