Job Purpose

We are now looking for a Principal Analyst to join our Group Commercial Reporting, Data and Insights Services (DIS) team. The role will serve as a partner to the Group Commercial Development, by providing insightful, accurate and timely performance reporting and analysis to support the decision-making process and to ultimately accelerate business performance within the Commercial area of CCEP.
This role will be responsible for fostering harmonized processes and cross-functional collaboration, promoting expertise, and identifying opportunities for increasing value delivery within the Data and Insights domain. He / She will play a crucial role in driving collaboration, aligning strategies with CCEP central commercial team, and ensuring the efficient utilisation of data and insights across the organization.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical & technical skills, expertise in panel dataand curiosity with the ability to provide insights. He/she would possess leadership and drive to maximize business value, reduce complexity and manage risks within the Commercial Development area.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding how the Commercial Development business functions and how internal and external data reflects business performance.
- Take full ownership of existing portfolio of Commercial Development KPIs and dashboards with the goal of monitoring long-term trends & business drivers, as well as provide insights.
- Understand the needs of the stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications and requirements for further automation and harmonization/alignment between local and central reporting suites
- Design & validate meaningful business KPIs and dashboards, building pilot/ad-hoc reports, and monitoring/spotting trends in the existing regular reports.
- Have the ability and knowledge to apply best practices in automating and re-shaping the existing reporting portfolio in view of the future vision of the company – towards harmonization and alignment between group and local perspectives
- Building long-term plans and setting the direction within the Group team, as well as defining the problems that are to be solved in order to achieve long-term success, by working closely with the other Country teams, as well as the local Business Intelligence team.
Requirements
- 5-7 years’ relevant experience in a dynamic environment like a multinational organization or a Shared Services Centre.
- Reporting and analysis experience with focus on data as an asset.
- Strong understanding of the performance management KPI reporting process
- Strong understanding and knowledge of panel data (experience with Nielsen, Europanel, Kantaris a must)
- Understanding of the main processes in a multination organization (experience in financial or sales process will be considered an advantage).
- Good understanding of ERP information systems and principles (experience with SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc. will be considered an advantage)
- Reporting and data experience - designing BI and other analytical/reporting solutions using standard BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik View, Micro Strategy etc. is considered an advantage
Education & Qualifications required
- Degree level education in Business Studies, Finance or Information Systems
Functional technical skills required
- Knowledge of panel data (experience with Nielsen, Europanel, Kantar, etc.) – Advanced.
- Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or ERP experience (preferably SAP) – Intermediate/Advanced.
- Optimal usage of all DIS tools to deliver pilots, validations & insights.
- Database query experience in SQL – Basic / Intermediate.
- Ability to design a dashboard and explore complex datasets - Power BI, MS Data Factory, Databricks - Basic / Intermediate.
- Understanding the Commercial processes and FMCG specifics – Intermediate/Advanced.
- Understanding the Performance reporting environment and needs of relevant stakeholders – Intermediate/Advanced.
- Understanding of financial systems & processes – Basic / Intermediate.
