MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN – NIGHT SHIFT

Have you ever seen a bottling line in full cry? It's truly is a sight to behold. A canning line racing through over a thousand cans a minute? Magic... when everything is running smoothly. Not so much if they're standing still. Luckily we've got a cracking team of engineers and electricians for just that sort of situation; which brings us to the point of this ad, we're looking for a top Maintenance Electrician to join our ranks and keep us running.

Your Impact 

Quite simply you'll be responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of plant equipment in a cost-effective manner. To make sure you're on top of everything you'll maintain a working knowledge of machinery, equipment and technology all while focusing on continuous improvement of the plant processes and assisting in the improvement of product quality. This role is to support our night shift team and you must be available to work night shift hours between 6pm and 6am, Monday to Sunday on a 2x2x3 shift pattern (12 hours per day on a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off shift pattern). Shift pattern might change to Monday to Thursday (three x 12 hours shifts +  one 9 hour shift). A reasonable amount of overtime may also be required. 

About You 

Obviously, you're going to need your full Electrical Registration and a current practising license with EWRB. Even better if you've taken your studies further and have a Diploma of Electrical Engineering. Experiencewise you'll need to have at least 5 years industrial maintenance under your belt preferably in the beverage industry. You'll need to be very comfortable with PLC fault-finding and have a sound knowledge of high-level PLC networks (especially Allen Bradley and Siemens). You’re accurate and organised, and highly safety-conscious!
