Senior Supply Planner - Fairfield

The Opportunity

As a Senior Supply Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products are available when and where our customers need them. Leading supply planning activities across the Grinders Coffee business, you'll balance customer service, inventory, and operational performance while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

The Senior Supply Planner interacts with several areas within the business in coordinating both product and information flow through the supply chain. Working closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement, Warehousing, and Distribution teams, you'll translate demand into effective supply plans, optimise inventory, and support business growth through strong planning and collaboration.

This role is based in Fairfield, VIC and is offered as a full-time 8-month contract position

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead supply planning activities to support customer service, inventory, and working capital objectives

  • Develop and maintain effective production and replenishment plans for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging

  • Drive Supply Review activities within the monthly S&OP process, identifying risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives

  • Manage supplier relationships from an operational planning perspective, ensuring service and supply requirements are met

  • Provide inventory analysis, scenario planning, and reporting to support business decision-making

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver product transitions, packaging changes, and new product launches

  • Maintain and optimise planning parameters and master data within SAP

  • Lead stocktake activities and investigate inventory variances through root cause analysis

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across supply planning processes and systems

  • Coach and support team members to drive engagement, capability, and performance

About You

You are a highly analytical and commercially minded supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy solving complex challenges, influencing stakeholders, and driving planning excellence across the business.

In addition, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related discipline (APICS certification advantageous)

  • Previous experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, or a similar Supply Chain role

  • Strong understanding of inventory management, forecasting, and S&OP processes

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions

  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities

  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Experience working within SAP (APO and/or ECC preferred)

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Experience using reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau is advantageous

  • Leadership, coaching, or team development experience will be highly regarded
