ABOUT YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a results-driven BPT Transformation Manager to execute global IT transformation strategies at the local level. This role is responsible for aligning Australia & Pacific (AP) Business Process & Technology (BPT) initiatives with global programs, ensuring effective governance and adoption of new capabilities such as AI and S/4 HANA. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing change across cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Manage Programme Communities: Work with Lead Business SMEs (for S/4 HANA) and AI Champions (for the AI Incubator) to build and maintain active communities. This includes organising regular touchpoints, sharing updates, and cascading global content that promotes collaboration and visibility. Maintaining high engagement with both business and BPT stakeholders.
- AP Coordination: Help ensure consistent communication and alignment of plans across the AP region by supporting the AP CIO with tracking, planning, and coordination activities across multiple initiatives.
- Governance and Communication Management: Manage the planning and delivery of key governance meetings and events, including the Transformation Steerco, Townhall and stakeholder forums. Manage the local AP delivery of global communication routines for effective and engaging communication materials such as programme updates, presentations, newsletters, and internal announcements aligned to AP priorities.
- Planning Support: Maintain high-level plan and trackers that help the team stay aligned and on schedule with ongoing initiatives and communication priorities. Focus on managing the path to S/4 HANA, including get fits for legacy, strategic and local satellite systems.
- Manage Governance and Tracking: Ensure governance mechanisms and management rhythms are in place to track progress and manage execution of transformation plans, maintaining high engagement with both business and BPT stakeholders. Manage the AP BPT Annual Business Planning process, with the support of the BPs.
- Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback from local teams to inform global program refinement and continuous improvement. Report on progress, challenges, and successes to both local leadership and the global transformation office.
- Enhance Business Immersion & AI Capability: Support Business Partners in region in strengthening business immersion practices and developing AI capabilities through the AI Incubator community.
LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU!
- 2–4 years’ experience in a coordination, communications, project support, or change enablement role—ideally in a regional or matrixed environment.
- Conversant in AI and experience of driving adoption and innovation in this space.
- Familiarity with technology or business transformation programmes
- Previous involvement in creating or supporting internal communications, stakeholder engagement plans, or change enablement activities is highly desirable.
- Clear and confident written and verbal communicator, able to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Comfortable working with stakeholders across different teams, functions, and cultures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook); experience with SharePoint or similar platforms a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
