Mgr, International Tax

Job Purpose:
Working under the supervision of the Senior Manager International Tax to support in providing US and international taxation computations and positions to the international tax team.
Key Responsibilities:
US International Tax Reporting and Compliance
- Perform all data gathering, calculation and compilation tasks for US federal, state and international compliance as assigned (Forms 5471 & 8858).
- Calculate U.S. Earnings & Profits (annually).
- Work with in-house software package to prepare all necessary US federal and state filings.
- Attend calls with and assist in providing responses to external and internal auditors as needed.
- Perform all data gathering, calculation and compilation tasks for tax accounting projects as assigned. This includes US international tax IAS 12 documentation, tax account roll-forwards (TARFs), monthly tax provision, quarterly tax packs and US effective tax rate calculation.
Other International Tax
- Support the group wide Total Tax Contribution process and execution.
- Assist and manage value added projects within the tax team – EBTF reporting, Tax Strategy Paper calculation and updates.
- Perform research, data gathering, modelling and documentation for research and planning projects as assigned (assistance on Country by country Reporting, excess cash pool position exposure, etc.)
- Be a valued point of contact within the Tax Group and Finance function.
- Assist and manage ad-hoc and value added projects within the greater Tax Group.
Key Stakeholders
Internal: VP of Tax and Customs; Group Tax leadership team including Director of Tax Accounting, Director of Tax Policy, BU Tax Leads, Transfer Pricing, and Indirect Tax;Group Financial Controller / Shared Services – Record to Report; Treasury, Procurement, Legal, Internal Control and P&C heads
External: Tax Authorities; External Tax Advisors; External Auditors (EY); External Network Groups, Forums and Organizations; TCCC tax counsel and local tax team
Experiencerequired
- 2 years relevant experience, Bulgaria and/or other jurisdiction preferably in a multinational shared services environment and/or big 4 firm
- Ability to address or escalate complex issues relating to corporate tax
- Basic understanding of general accounting rules
Language Capability & expert level
- English : essential
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools: Excel, Word, Power Point
- ERP experience (preferably SAP)
