Distribution at CCEP GB

Distribution at CCEP

Working in Distribution at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), you’ll join a full-scale, 24/7 operation that consists of Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouses that hold anywhere from 15,000 to 30,000 pallets of stock. We have 5 Distribution sites in the UK; Sidcup, Edmonton, Nottingham, Wakefield and East Kilbride.

At our largest site, Wakefield, we house a block-stacked conventional warehouse that holds an additional 12,000 pallets, as well as the 28,000 pallets that the ASRS holds. Using the latest technology and process management, our warehouse teams are in charge of promptly and safely stacking away goods; recording and locating stock using SAP and Locator stock management systems and assembling orders ready for dispatch to our customers.

Our distribution locations

Sidcup

Sidcup Distribution Centre is a 24/7 operation and from 2018, our brand new Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse will hold 25,000 pallets, with a typical annual throughput of over one million pallets.  Every 24 hours we expect to receive well over 1,000 pallets from the on-site manufacturing operation, directly into the ASRS, as well as handling over 100 vehicle movements.  Inbound vehicles arrive from our other factory sites, with palletised goods which must be put away promptly and safely into the ASRS and accurately recorded.  We also assemble orders of full pallets for dispatch to our customers and other sites across our network.  Most customers order bulk pallets, which are assembled from the ASRS and rear-loaded onto third party haulage vehicles.  We also carry out a sizeable case-picking operation within the adjacent conventional warehouse.

Edmonton

Edmonton Distribution Centre is a 24/7 operation, 364 days per year. Our Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse holds over 25,000 pallets, with a typical annual throughput of two million pallets.  Every 24 hours we expect to receive around 2,000 pallets from the on-site manufacturing operation, directly into the ASRS, as well as handling around 200 vehicle movements.  Inbound vehicles arrive from our other factory sites, with palletised goods which must be put away promptly and safely into the ASRS and accurately recorded.  At the same time, orders of full pallets will be pre-assembled into gravity racking and side-loaded on third party haulage vehicles, for dispatch to our customers and other sites across our network.
