The Black Experience
We’re proud to support The Black Experience (TBE)—an informal network and safe space for our Black colleagues to connect, celebrate career achievements, and share their perspectives. TBE provides a platform to raise concerns, give feedback, and help shape initiatives that foster belonging and ensure meaningful support for Black employees across our business
Black History Month
We also take the time every October to celebrate Black History Month, focusing on the education and celebration of Black culture, allyship, and contribution back into our community.
Celebrations included focus on supporting and growing our internal Black talent with a dedicated Career Pathways & Development workshop, an new external partnership with the Black Talent Awards and celebrating Black culture across our sites and offices. We welcomed the SipNStroke Creative Painting Team back to CCEP for an evening of group fun, music and networking and finally finishing off the month with some group volunteering – an opportunity to give back to local Black communities using one of our 2 company-provided volunteering days.
Black History Month presents a good opportunity to reflect on our commitments, progress and put positive actions front of mind not only throughout October but all year around.
