The Centre of Excellence (CoE) Lead for Transport is responsible for driving excellence in transportation operations within CCEP. This role involves developing and implementing best practices, optimizing transportation processes, and ensuring high standards of efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for defining roadmaps in conjunction with the local markets and moving each market to the To Be situation.
What to Expect:
Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Transport Centre of Excellence.
• Lead initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Process Optimization:
• Identify and implement best practices in transportation management.
• Lead initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Innovation and Technology:
• Leverage advanced technologies and data analytics to drive innovation in transportation.
• Implement and manage transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant tools.
Performance Management:
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for transportation operations.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure seamless transportation operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external logistics service providers.
Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with transportation operations.
Continuous Improvement:
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the transportation team.
• Lead projects aimed at enhancing transportation processes and reducing costs.
Facilitating the Community of Practice meetings
Skills and Essentials:
Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a focus on transportation.
• Proven experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable.
• Leadership and project management experience in cross functional initiatives.
Technical Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Behavioural Competencies:
• A highly experienced manager adept at conceptualising and developing the products, processes and plans that will support the delivery of the business’ strategy. Will contribute to the strategy development, within Central Customer Service & Supply Chain.
• This role will require the analysis of complex issues and changes to working methods.
• Strong leader with solid change management and influencing skills.
• Communicative competence for networking, conflict solution and organizational ability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
• Fluent knowledge of English language
