The role:
The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for managing engineering projects across both manufacturing sites in Lae and Port Moresby for CCEP Papua New Guinea. This role ensures the successful delivery of capital projects by leading project planning, execution, budget management, and stakeholder coordination. The role also involves developing the annual CAPEX plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving capital efficiency.

A well-presented, highly personable and efficient candidate who can work independently in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience leading capital projects in a manufacturing environment.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage, though not mandatory.
- Proven track record in delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Strong expertise in CAPEX planning, cost control, and financial performance reporting.
- Solid technical foundation in manufacturing systems, equipment installation, and plant engineering.
- Ability to lead and execute projects in fast-paced, multi-site, and remote operational environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Comfortable navigating matrix organizations and leading cross-functional project teams.
