Reporting to the Engineering Manager, VIC,  this fantastic role of Project Engineer is offered on an initial 12 month contract, and will be based at our Moorabbin Manufacturing Site - one of Coca‑Cola Europacific Partners’ flagship operations in Australia, which has undergone significant transformation in recent years.

With substantial capital investment directed into new technology, line modernisation and capability upgrades, the site is now equipped with highly agile production lines that support a diverse beverage portfolio. This ongoing investment not only strengthens our operational performance but also positions Moorabbin as a key contributor to CCEP’s long‑term growth and sustainability ambitions across the region.

The role will also be exposed to multiple levels throughout the business and will require effective communication from front line operations up to director level.

About you 

As our Project Engineer, you will be accountable for planning, coordinating, and delivering all engineering activities for various projects across the VIC portfolio, including specification, design, installation, commissioning, and handover. This role ensures capital projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while supporting operational readiness and long-term asset performance.

The position provides technical expertise and coordination across design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases, ensuring alignment with Australian Standards, CCEP Standards, Kore 3.0 Requirements, and all relevant regulatory and food safety requirements.

A typical day will look like, but not be limited to:  

  • Managing Projects from concept to handover including scope, time, budget, risk and stakeholder management
  • Applying technical knowledge and experience to the review of proposals and designs to ensure optimal outcomes for CCEP
  • Evaluating, Planning and implementing capital works and major maintenance (capital) work to meet or improve business performance.
  • Optimising the use of external resources on tasks through the development of accurate specification of work, effective contractor management, supervision and planning.
  • Delivering timely solutions to projects for CCEP’s Supply Chain in line with the operations objectives
  • Working with other site engineers (both external and internal) providing technical support as required

To be considered for this role, you will be/have:

  • Engineering Degree qualified, ideally with experience in Process or Manufacturing Engineering. 
  • Recognised Project Management post graduate qualification would be well regarded 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or operations sector
  • Experience in FMCG, ideally within beverage processing and packaging
  • Experience in complex projects including exposure to the different aspects of the project life cycle from concept to delivery
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing and influencing multiple level stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and at various stages of project life cycle
