Finance Manager - Cashflow & Working Capital

  • Hybrid location – 3 days in the North Sydney office and 2 days WFH

The Manager, Trade working capital is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of Trade Working Capital and Cashflow for Australia as well as partnering local stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of FP&A & Partners, the Manager, Trade Working Capital provides trusted advice and supports the financial review and recommendations across a variety of financial business performance items for Australia to enable effective decision making.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Financial Analysis and Reporting

Responsibility for financial analysis & insight, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis related to trade working capital and free cashflow. This includes oversight of reporting and analysis prepared by the Integrated Shared Service team.

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

Support quarterly Free Cash Flow touchpoints with senior leaders by assisting in preparation of R&Os list, providing insight into expected payments from large customers and payment schedules for weeks leading up to quarter end

AR/AP Management

  • Responsible to provide Trade AR/AP insight that is embedded in the working capital forecasting model by country and ultimately own the Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable financials and metrics presented to senior Finance stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Responsible for establishing local Working Capital & Free Cash Flow targets for business units in support of the Australian CFO
  • Oversight of the preparation of monthly Working Capital & Free Cash Flow forecast models, including communication of assumptions, consolidation of data, and discussion with various (RTR, PPM, CTC/STP, Supply Chain, etc.) stakeholders across the organization to understand outputs

Close collaboration with CCEP finance teams in the Integrated Shared Service functions to deliver on role outcomes.

Partnering

  • Review information, provide commercial and financial support to Australia CFO and other senior leaders in CCEP, including advisory on business Initiatives with financial process impact.
  • Build strong relationships through business partnering with local Finance teams, including FP&A & Partners, Commercial Finance, Neverfail, PSD, Statewide, API Group, Tax, Audit, legal, PACS and Procurement

Process Improvement & Ad-hoc

  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as well as project support, when requested
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes related to working capital management and implement best practices.

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU!

  • Working experience – minimum 4 years in the Finance area (FMCG sector / international environment preferred but not essential )
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High influencing capability with experience in preparing sound recommendations, able to constructively challenge stakeholders and lead strategic change initiatives
  • Ability to build and strong collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders within Finance and cross functionally to drive fast decision making and improved business outcomes
  • Experienced finance leader with strong knowledge and understanding of Accounting Policies and Standards
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Power BI)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP and SAP BPC preferred), Anaplan (preferred)
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Current or prior experience in a top tier consulting/professional services firm highly regarded
  • Able to create bespoke and compelling financial reports and case studies applicable to a specific business issue.
