The role:
The role of the OHS Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation of occupational health and safety systems across the business. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with the OHS legislation and company standards, coordinating safety activities, monitoring risks, supporting incident management, and promoting a strong safety culture.
Our desired candidate:
A well-presented, highly personable, and efficient candidate who can work independently in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Level 3 Safety Officers (Sefti PNG)
- Grade 12 Qualifications
- Workplace Health and Safety Officer Certification (NSCA).
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in OHS in an FMCG Industry.
- MS Excell, Powerpoint, Microsoft word.
- Time Management skills.
- Presentation Skill.
- Managerial Skills.
- Good understanding of the PNG legal system and insurance process.
- Strong skills in risk management and be able to perform duties.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Disciplined with sober habits.
- Stable personal life.
- Great team player.
- High Ethical standards.
- Be confident and present high level of confidentiality.
