Analyst PPM CoE, Commercial Finance

Job Purpose 

The Commercial Finance analyst at the CoE will provide support to the country Commercial Finance teams across the following streams: 

•    Channel Finance

•    Marketing Finance

•    RGM

The position reports to the Commercial Finance Manager and has regular interactions with BU stakeholders (Channel Finance, Marketing Finance, RGM, Marketing, Demand Planning, FP&A) to provide support.  In addition, the Analyst will be in contact and collaboration with other teams within the Shared Service Centre in Bulgaria (Customer to Cash, Record to Report, New Product Introduction etc).

Key Responsibilities 

•    Prepare reports in Excel based on request from the stakeholders (respective BU) in an accurate and timely manner

•    Provide Input for Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Closing process

•    Amend existing reports and create new reports through manipulation of data in Excel, Power BI or using other system

•    Provide ad hoc reporting & analysis 

•    Provide data and analytical input to support business planning initiatives

•    Analyse data through reports and provide initial commentary on performance/variances

•    Support analysis of historical trends for the purposes of specific reporting requests, utilising analytics to drive continuous improvement

•    Support the finance processes for the respective BU of responsibility – month-end closing, forecast, weekly and daily reporting (where applicable)

•    Collate and prepare the information required for budgeting and forecasting to provide the basis for management decision making. 

•    Present information in a coherent and logical way using PowerPoint or other presentation tools

Key Stakeholders  

Internal: The CoE and across the ISS Stream lines

External: Finance team in the Business Units

Experience required 

•    Essential experience using Microsoft Office (Excel) 

•    Some experience using Microsoft SharePoint

•    Experience with SAP system

•    Some understanding of SAP BO and BW (Ideal, not essential) BI tools (Alteryx, Power BI) considered an advantage)


Language Capability & expert level

Essential: English + other CCEP language


Education & Qualifications required 

•    Degree level education in Business Studies, Finance or Information Systems

•    Post-qualification degree (ACA-CIMA/ACMA/ACCA) – ideal, but not essential
