The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially astute Senior Finance Business Partner – Capital to join our Supply Chain Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract working two days per week from our North Sydney office, with the potential for extension. Preferred working days are Monday and Tuesday.
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Finance, this highly visible role partners directly with senior leaders to drive value for our customers and shareholders through strategic commercial insights, capital investment planning and business performance improvement.
Operating as part of a job-share arrangement, you will work closely with a co–Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver end-to-end accountabilities across the Capital portfolio. While both role holders share ownership of outcomes, this position will take the lead on property-related financial management and provide oversight of key ISS finance processes, requiring strong collaboration, disciplined handovers and aligned prioritisation.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with senior Supply Chain leaders to support strategic decision-making, capital investment planning and business performance
• Lead the management of annual capital budgets, long-range planning cycles, forecasts and investment portfolios
• Evaluate and challenge business cases, providing commercial analysis and recommendations to optimise investment outcomes
• Conduct post-investment reviews and identify opportunities to improve future capital allocation decisions
• Deliver financial and operational analysis across key performance metrics, including productivity and cost-per-case measures
• Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, weekly trading updates and performance reporting processes
• Influence operational and strategic decisions through scenario modelling, commercial insights and data-led recommendations
• Drive accountability across stakeholders to achieve financial objectives, productivity targets and business commitments
• Own and manage property-related operating expenditure, including forecasting, tracking and variance analysis
• Lead and provide oversight of ISS finance activities, ensuring timely, accurate and high-quality delivery of core finance processes
• Coach and develop finance team members while uplifting commercial capability across the broader business
• Partner with Procurement, Commercial, Engineering & Technology and Supply Chain teams to support business priorities
• Strengthen financial governance, internal controls and compliance with SOX requirements and company policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving simplification, standardisation and best-practice finance processes
About You
You are a strategic and commercially focused finance professional who enjoys partnering with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges and influence key decisions.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, can navigate ambiguity with confidence, and have a proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
In addition, you will have:
• 8+ years' experience in senior commercial finance, finance business partnering or strategic finance roles
• Proven experience partnering with General Managers, Directors or senior operational leaders
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with deep understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow management
• Experience evaluating capital investments, business cases and large-scale strategic initiatives
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and drive outcomes
• Advanced analytical capability and experience translating complex financial information into clear business insights
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior executives and non-finance stakeholders
• Prior experience owning financial performance and influencing business outcomes through data-led decision making
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and influence both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Experience supporting complex business transformation, change initiatives or continuous improvement programs
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience using SAP, with Power BI or Tableau experience highly regarded
• Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
• CA, CPA or CIMA qualification preferred
