About your new role…
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Business Partner to lead the safety function at one of our largest manufacturing sites. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and delivering strategic safety initiatives that support our goal of zero life-changing injuries.
What will you be doing?
- Lead the site safety function, acting as the primary point of contact for all health and safety matters.
- Partner closely with site operations, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify risks and implement practical, high-impact safety solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Design and lead site-specific safety programs, aligned with national strategies and the Health & Safety Centre of Excellence (CoE).
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement.
- Champion employee engagement in safety through training, toolbox talks, and visible leadership.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to frontline leaders and influence safe behaviours across all shifts.
- Collaborate with other Health & Safety Business Partners across Australia to share best practices and support broader business safety priorities.
Let’s talk about you…
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally within FMCG or beverage production.
- Strong knowledge of Work Health & Safety legislation, standards, and risk management practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building a safety-first culture.
