Lucy has always been a character with multiple interests: current affairs, law and business. Each passion has inspired her onto the next, but like a lot of us at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) she believes progression comes by keeping an open mind. After graduating with a Master’s degree in Law from Northumbria University, Lucy applied to join us as a Commercial Graduate.

Question: What made you decide that you wanted to pursue a graduate scheme?

“I was drawn to a graduate scheme for a plethora of reasons. Namely, the structure and progression that a scheme would offer through a challenging workload and training opportunities. Alongside, the ability to work within different sectors and with many colleagues across a large organisation.”

Question: What was the application process like for CCEP’s programme?

“The application process comprised of multiple stages. After submitting my CV, I was invited to undertake a remote recorded virtual interview. I was then invited to an assessment day at Pemberton House in Uxbridge, London. The assessment day included a interview, presentation and group task.”

Question: When did you join the programme and how has your experience been?

“I joined the programme mid-September 2021. Since then, I have been exposed to various aspects of CCEP as a whole. I particularly enjoyed attending the Food & Drink Federation Awards, and visiting various sites such as Sidcup and East Kilbride.”

Question: Do you have any advice that you’d like to share with university students thinking of applying?

“I would advise students to research CCEP to the best of their ability prior to applying, as this will help them significantly during the recruitment process. Also, do not be deterred if your degree does not directly relate to the graduate scheme you are applying for.”
