Typically, roles in Manufacturing can be fairly male-dominated – particularly at senior levels. Maybe this is due to the misconception that roles are physically demanding and require hours of hard labour. Maybe it’s because the industry doesn’t alert women to the opportunities available. At CCEP, we’re setting out to change all of this. We launched initiatives like the ‘Women’s Listening Circles’ to support the recruitment and retention of women in supply chain roles. These circles provide a platform for women to share their experiences and ideas in a trusted environment, helping to create action plans focused on hiring, development, safety, and workplace culture.
